About me
Amanda is the CEO of Close the Gap-She is dedicated to empowering after school staff to close the literacy gap with the tools and knowledge necessary to support struggling readers. Through scripted curriculum, staff training and on-going coaching, she provides after school staff with curriculum and strategies to transform lives of struggling readers. With a deep passion for closing the literacy gap, her mission is to educate others on effective methods for teaching students who struggle to read including those who have dyslexia. Her expertise in dyslexia and Special Education, backed by extensive qualifications, underscores her commitment to making a difference.
